I am incredibly pleased to be welcoming Pranay Krishna to Novel Kicks as we shine a light on his book, The Letters I Never Stopped Writing.
Some love stories end with distance. This one begins there.
The Letters I Never Stopped Writing is a deeply intimate epistolary romance told through letters written across time, silence, and separation.
He chose duty over presence. But he never stopped choosing her. Each letter reveals longing, doubt, faith, regret, and an unwavering devotion to a love that refuses to fade — even when unanswered. In a world of instant replies and temporary connections, this is a story about something rare:
Staying.
Waiting.
Writing.
Loving without guarantees.
This is not a dramatic love story filled with grand gestures. It is a quiet, powerful exploration of emotional endurance of loving someone from afar, and choosing that love again and again, even when nothing is certain.
If you enjoy:
• Slow-burn emotional romance
• Love letters and intimate storytelling
• Clean, reflective love stories
• Stories about distance, devotion, and persistence
This book will stay with you long after the final letter. Because some hearts don’t move on.

Dear Tara,
The winds have carried me far from the lands I know and the streams that flow. The known world is
gradually fading, and my comrades are falling one by one. Each night, as I cross these unknown
territories, I look up at the same stars in the night sky, and that gives me hope. In this ever-changing
world, the unchanging night sky reminds me of you. It reminds me that no matter how many new
worlds I travel to, when I look up, the same stars twinkle. And to me, you are the brightest among
those billions of twinkles. During these difficult times in unfamiliar lands, when the winds don’t
feel familiar, the thought of us living under the same sky comforts me.
My love, you don’t know how much I miss you. Every second, I wish you were here with me. I
miss your soft hands, gently comforting my tired body after fierce battles; your gentle voice,
singing lullabies; and everything that made us feel complete. Right now, I feel alone without you.
I apologise for not writing to you regularly. I want to write to you every day, but enemy spies can
outsmart me. I do this to keep you safe. Please don’t be afraid, Tara.
I pray to the clouds travelling your way to shower their blessings. I plead with the winds to carry
good fortune to you. I wish upon the shooting stars to end this misery for us. I don’t know how long
this will last, but I will keep enduring until I save the world and return to you. I won’t give up, no
matter how tough it gets. Even if I have to do it alone, I will see it through. Because I know I am
never truly alone; I am, and always will be, in your heart and prayers, just as you are in mine.
Please stay safe and take care of our people. Keep looking up at the skies for my letters. Until next
time, my love, these words are my way of reassuring you that I am always with you.
Yours lovingly,
Krishna
