Well, here we are on a new book blog tour for the wonderful Sue Moorcroft on this, the first of a new trilogy for her new publisher.

I’m so happy that she’s taken us back to Italy and to another location that I now, of course, want to go to more than I can explain. Welcome to Jade’s home in Lake Como! Right, quick synopsis, without giving too many things away – Jade’s life is pretty perfect, running a beautiful, cosy hotel that she inherited from her grandmother, albeit whilst missing her desperately. Her life is thrown by not only the reappearance of the man who chose work over love, but by the sudden appearance into her life of two half-sisters she had no previous knowledge of. To make matters worse, her grandmother left the hotel to all three sisters equally.

For anyone new to Sue, then you are in for a treat. I’ve followed this author for a good number of years now and I’m very excited to be back in her world. The writing is full of imagery which I’m sure will make you want to join me in planning a holiday to Lake Como. It’s rare to say, but I can’t think of a single character who I didn’t either fall in love with or find a reason to love hating them. Does that make any sense? perhaps.

This is a perfect second-chance romance, from the queen of romantic fiction. We have surprises, teasers – which I hope will be dealt with in the two books to follow – a reason (if one is needed) to close your eyes and escape into a first-class story. There’s more than the obvious secrets on show here, which merely goes to show that this is an author at the top of her game.
