I know I say this kind of sentence a lot but how are we already in April?!
I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you some of my favourites from March. So, let’s get to it.
The first favourite was the BBC series, Peaky Blinders.
OK, I love this series.
My husband and I came to this series late. In fact, we’ve pretty much watched five series worth over the last month and wondering what took us so long to discover it.
Cillian Murphy is amazing, I am slightly scared of Arthur (LOL) and the last series, which we’re currently watching, isn’t the same without the wonderful Helen McCrory/Aunt Pol but it’s still brilliant so far. No spoilers. Promise.
If you’re looking for a gritty drama and you’ve not yet watched Peaky Blinders, I would throughly recommend.
My second favourite in March was Wordle.
There was a time where I couldn’t check my Facebook feed without seeing a load of results from friends who were also playing.
I have even downloaded an app that gives me more than one puzzle a day! Yes, I know.
Anyone else love Wordle?
My third favourite is an app called Beatstar.
It’s a little like Guitar Hero (for those of us that remember that.) It makes me feel very nostalgic and it’s very easy to play.
It can get a little expensive and there are a few more ads than I’d like but it doesn’t stop me playing.
I usually play this if I am feeling a little anxious as it helps distract my brain.
My book favourite for March. This was a hard choice as I read a few good books. If I had to pick one, it would be Living Your Best Life.
This book was so lovely and fun to read.
The general gist is Bee and Luca, best friends since childhood, take on a challenge to change the course of their love lives. They do this by using online dating. One of them believes you can find love through this method, the other doesn’t.
I adored this book. It’s perfect for a holiday read. If you’d like to read my full review, click here.
My final favourite for March – well, it had to be stationery right?
If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know that I have a thing for notebooks and pens. In fact, I have way more than I need. I drive my husband mad and yet, like with books, I can’t seem to stop buying more.
It has ring binder rings and so, if I need to remove anything, I can without ruining the notebook.
At one point, I had a notebook for writing, one for this blog and one for work. This way, it’s all in sections. It’s all in one place, but separate. I love it.
What have your recent favourites been?
(I would just like to say that I’ve not been paid to mention any of the products above aside from Living My Best Life which was an advanced reading copy in exchange for an honest review. They are simply things that I’ve loved and wanted to share.)
