Five Bookmarks

We love these five bookmarks.

I have almost as big an obsession with bookmarks as I do with books. I am not the kind of reader that likes to turn down corners (although it does occasionally happen,) and I am always on the look out for pretty or cute ones. These bookmarks would be some of the ones on our wish list…

These book clips are just adorable. I love them. Available from Etsy (Imaginative One,) they are a bargain at just a £1 each (before postage) and there are four designs: Heart, Flower, Gift or Cupcakes.

Pink Bookmark

These are just brilliant. We love Jane Austen and these Austen themed book marks feature famous quotes, titles, quotes and snippets from her letters. They are a bargain at £6 before postage and are available from Not on The High Street.

This one is just beautiful. This one has a butterfly charm but you can customise the charms (including a cat, dance shoes or Hello Kitty) and you can also customise the colours. It’s £1.86 before postage from Beyond Charms.

I am really loving this next book mark. The Pointing Finger bookmark is from Not on The High Street and you can get it in Pink, Yellow and Blue. You can use it as a book strap and it allows you to mark where you’d got to so you can pick up where you left off as soon as you open the book. It’s £6.50.

Finally, there is something very magical about this last bookmark. The Once Upon a Time clip is £3.92 before postage from Bouf.  It clips onto the book and like the Pointing Finger bookmark, it allows you to mark the line you were last on. I love fairytales and this bookmark is so cute.

I’m Laura. I started Novel Kicks in 2009. I wanted a place to post my writing as well as give other writers like me the opportunity to do the same. There is also a monthly book club, a writing room which features writing prompts, book reviews, competitions, author interviews and guest posts.

I grew up by the sea (my favourite place in the world) and I currently live in Hampshire. I am married to Chris, have a cat named Buddy and I would love to be a writer. I’m trying to write the novel I’ve talked so much about writing if only I could stop pressing delete. I’ve loved writing since creative writing classes in primary school. I have always wanted to see my teacher Miss Sayers again and thank her for the encouragement. When not trying to write the novel or writing snippets of stories on anything I can get my hands on, I love reading, dancing like a loon and singing to myself very badly. My current obsession is Once Upon a Time and I would be happy to live with magic in the enchanted forest surrounded by all those wonderful stories provided that world also included Harry Potter. I love reading chick lit. contemporary fiction and novels with mystery.
